At Debut Surf School we offer beginner, intermediate and advanced surf lessons for ages 6 and up.

Jed Laidlaw is a surfer, musician, and father. Jed has over 20 years’ experience teaching surfing and Lifeguarding around the world. He has taught in France, Spain, Portugal and here in the California. Jed is Lifeguard, ISA Surf Coach and CPR/AED qualified. He is the lead instructor and manager at Debut Surf School at T street in San Clemente.

Through the City of San Clemente, Debut surf school will offer both private and group individually catered surf lessons for beginner to advanced surfers ages 6+. The duration of the lessons are approximately two hours long, with a 10 minute break if needed. Our approach is to keep the ratio of instructor to surfer small, to maximize learning.

At Debut Surf School we focus on ocean safety, surfing technique, surf and beach etiquette, but most importantly...FUN.

We have a quiver of Album soft top boards and wetsuits available in all sizes.
